Actor

Alex Garday is a Chicago based actor, comedian, event host, model, and producer who hails from Phoenix, Arizona. For the last 12 years, he has been privileged to train and perform comedy at all of the major Chicago institutions including The Second City, iO Chicago, the Annoyance Theatre, Comedy Sportz Chicago, MCL Chicago and more. He regularly can be seen performing with Baby Wine (all LGBTQ+ comedy) at The Annoyance Theatre and Baby Wants Candy (all musical improv) at The Second City. He was a cofounder and Artistic Director of MCL Chicago where he co-wrote and produced multiple critically acclaimed productions such as "Yippee Ki-Yay Merry Christmas! A Die Hard Musical Parody" (2014-present), "Chicago Doo-Wop Dreams" (2015-2018), and "VAMP: A Music Comedy Drinking Show" (voted "Best Sketch/Improv Troupe" 2017 in the Chicago Reader). 

He also creates original and customized sketches and experiences for the hospitality industry as one-fourth of the comedic team, Grand Crew. Performances with this foursome include the Welcome Conference Chicago and Chicago Gourmet Festival 2019. Other clients include Kevin Boehm of BOKA Group and Roti Modern Mediterranean. Garday crossed over into the interwebs with the viral web series, The Restaurant Series
